IIASA Opens Call for 2025 Young Scientists Summer Program

The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) has announced its annual call for the Young Scientists Summer Program. Under this program, 50 PhD students from around the world are selected each year to conduct research related to their doctoral dissertation for three months (from June to August). During this period, researchers will benefit from the expertise of IIASA's prominent specialists and gain access to the institute's unique systems and software.

Iranian applicants can also take advantage of the opportunities provided through this program. To participate, applicants must submit their finalized proposal form to IIASA and send a copy to INSF via email at international@insf.org. Proposals submitted to only one of the two organizations will not be considered for evaluation by INSF.

The deadline for submitting proposals is January 13, and this deadline will not be extended. Detailed information regarding this call is available at the following link on IIASA’s portal: https://iiasa.ac.at/capacity-development/application-information.

IIASA is a leading institute in system analysis, conducting policy-oriented research to address challenges that surpass the capabilities of any single country or scientific discipline, namely climate change, biodiversity, security, energy, and sustainable development.
