INSF and FAPESP Collaboration to Support Research Projects

To facilitate scientific and technological research cooperation between Iran and Brazil, Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) and São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) signed an agreement which provides researchers from the State of São Paulo and those supported by INSF to collaborate on joint research projects.

Cooperation will take place through joint research projects on topics of common interest and the exchange of knowledge and results. The agreement also provides for the possibility of organizing scientific and technological seminars and exchange activities for researchers. 

Further negotiations are being conducted on the details of joint project calls.

This cooperation agreement has been signed on February 7, 2020 and is valid for five years.
