INSF Announces the First Call for Proposals for Hosting the Science Night Event

Call Description

Science Night is an event designed and executed to capture the interest of the general public, promote the advancement and expansion of sciences, enhance public awareness through simplified scientific concepts, provide engaging science education, disseminate scientific approaches, and establish a connection between science and society.

Following the successful pilot run of the first science night on November 23, in collaboration with the Tarbiat Modares University, INSF intends to provide a competitive funding program for holding the Science Night event for the universities and research institutes throughout the country. This event may include the following parts:

• science and education
• arts and culture
• children and adolescents
• health and exercise
• healthy food festival
• exhibition (stands and shops focused on scientific themes)

Amount of Funding & Deadline

The maximum funding allocated to each event amounts to 15 Billion Rials. The deadline for the call is February 29, 2024.

Applications shall be reviewed by the Science Night Group of INSF through the INSF Research Management System.
