CAS and INSF Fund Covid-19 Projects

Early this year and at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, INSF and CAS decided to launch an initiative to swiftly respond to the global challenge. The urgency and significance of the pandemic, made the two organisations, for the first time in 5 years of collaboration, to do a rapid matchmaking between Iranian and CAS researchers. The process resulted in joint proposals in the areas of test kits development, drug research and vaccine development from which 6 have been selected for funding after a rapid joint review process.
