Advancing Indonesia – Iran Research Collaboration Webinar
In line with strengthening scientific and technological collaborations between Iran and Indonesia, a webinar entitled “Advancing Indonesia-Iran Research Collaboration: Strategic Opportunities Ahead” will be held on Wednesday, 15 July 2026.
The event is jointly organized by the Iran National Science Foundation (INSF) and Indonesia’s National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) to provide a platform for discussing opportunities for collaboration between scientists and research institutions of the two countries.
The webinar will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tehran time and 2:00 p.m. Jakarta time. Interested parties can attend this meeting via https://www.skyroom.online/ch/insf/international/l/en.
The webinar will open with remarks by INSF President, Prof. Mohammad Reza Hormozi-Nezhad, and Prof. Agus Haryono, Deputy Chairman for Facilitation Research and Innovation at BRIN. The session will be moderated by Sesti Orisa from BRIN’s Research and Innovation Funding Development Program Division.
The technical session of this event will feature a number of experts from both countries who will share their perspectives on priority areas of cooperation. Prof. I. D. A. Sutapa and Dr. Majid Siavashi will speak on environmental issues, Prof. Masteria Y. P. will address health-related topics, and Prof. Gholamreza Mousavi will discuss water security.
This webinar represents a valuable opportunity to promote scientific synergy, expand research interactions, and develop joint international projects between Iran and Indonesia.
